Questions
How billing works
- What does "per team" mean?
- A team holds your projects, usually one per application, and the people who work on them. The team is what's on a plan, and Pro is paid per seat: one for each member of the team.
- How does the trial work?
- A new team starts on Pro for 14 days, with no card needed. A team admin can subscribe at any time from the team page; during the trial, the first payment is when it ends. If nobody subscribes, the team moves to Free when the 14 days are over.
- How do seats work?
- The subscription starts with one seat per member. When someone joins and every seat is taken, a seat is added and charged at once for the rest of the period. When someone leaves, their seat stays paid until the period ends and the next person to join takes it. At renewal the seats are set to the members you have then. Paid periods aren't credited.
- Who can subscribe, and how do we pay?
- Pro is for business customers. You pay by card through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and enter your company's VAT number at checkout. Prices exclude VAT: Swedish customers pay 25% Swedish VAT, and EU businesses with a valid VAT number are charged under the reverse charge. Checkout shows the price in your currency: euros, Swedish kronor or US dollars.
- How do we cancel?
- A team admin cancels under Manage billing on the team page. Pro lasts until the end of the period you've paid for; then the team moves to Free and keeps everything it has, though it can't add more members or keys beyond Free's limits.
- Do roles cost extra?
- No. Each member has one role in the team, admin, creator or editor, with the same permissions in every project. See roles in the docs.
- Can I start without a card?
- Yes. Sign in with Google, Microsoft or an email code and create a team: the trial starts at once.
